General Rules
Below is a suggested set of rules to follow when editing the Serial Killer Database. Administrators of this wiki adapt these rules as necessary. Keep it civil:
- Do not make personal attacks on other people.
- Criticize arguments without attacking the person.
- Avoid bigoted language, including slurs based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc.
Be a productive member of SKdb:
- Contribute in line with established processes and conventions.
- Disrupting the database with “edit warring” is not productive.
- Need help? Ask an administrator, bureaucrat, or content moderator!
Do not engage in excessive unrelated self-promotion:
- The database is a collaborative resource for the topic at hand.
- Feel free to link relevant YouTube videos, podcast episodes, blog articles, etc., as long as it's relevant to the serial killer in question.
- Do not advertise unrelated websites, YouTube channels, blogs, social media accounts, etc.
- Unsure if your link is appropriate? Ask an administrator, bureaucrat, or content moderator!
Do not harass other users:
- Respect others' wishes if they ask you to stop posting certain content on their wall.
