Biography[]
The first discovery of a disarticulated human foot occurred on August 20, 2007, when a sneaker containing a foot washed ashore on Jedediah Island in British Columbia. Since then, a total of 21 feet have been found in the Salish Sea area, which includes parts of British Columbia, Canada, and Washington, USA. The feet, often found in sneakers or boots, were typically separated from the rest of the body due to natural decomposition processes. Despite extensive forensic investigations, authorities have not conclusively linked the deaths to a single individual, though some theorists[who?] speculate the possibility of foul play and suggest the work of a serial killer. Most investigators, however, believe that the feet could belong to individuals who died from accidents or suicides, and that the separation of the feet was caused by environmental factors. The case remains open, and the Salish Sea discoveries continue to fuel speculation and mystery.
Victims[]
While no definitive victims have been named in connection with the Salish Sea serial killer theory, a number of unidentified individuals have been linked to the feet discoveries. Some of these remain unidentified, while others have been matched to known missing persons. The cause of death for most remains unknown.
