Trivia
Apart from his story gaining attention online, his case has also inspired a series of mobile horror games made by Spanish game development company Keplerians, named Mr Meat. Mr Meat tells the story of a man (who shares the same surname as Joe) whose wife cheated on him, and he eventually became a butcher who kidnapped humans, chopped up their limbs and sold their meat. There have been 2 games released in this series so far, with a third sequel upcoming.[1][2]
