Biography[]
Todd Christopher Kohlhepp is an American serial killer and real estate agent. Born on March 7, 1971, in Florida, he gained notoriety for his criminal activities. Kohlhepp's criminal history came to light in 2016 when a woman named Kala Brown was found chained inside a storage container on his property in Woodruff, South Carolina. She had been missing for two months.
Early life[]
Todd Kohlhepp was raised in Florida. He attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a degree in business administration.
Conviction for Kidnapping[]
In 1987, at the age of 15, Kohlhepp was convicted of kidnapping and other charges for holding a 14-year-old girl at gunpoint. He served around 15 years in prison for this crime.
Real Estate Business[]
After his release from prison, Kohlhepp became a licensed real estate agent in South Carolina. He managed to build a successful real estate business.
Serial Killings[]
On November 3, 2016, the shocking discovery of Kala Brown on Kohlhepp's property led to a more extensive investigation. Subsequently, Kohlhepp confessed to a series of murders. The victims included seven people, including Kala Brown's boyfriend, Charles Carver. The murders occurred between 2003 and 2016.

In May 2017, Todd Kohlhepp pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including seven counts of murder, and was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole.
