Adult life[]
Kibbe's outwardly normal life masked a dark and sinister side. By day, he worked as an engineer, but by night, he embarked on a gruesome killing spree that would earn him the moniker "The I-5 Strangler." His choice of victims primarily targeted young women.
The Murders[]
Kibbe's criminal activities came to light in the 1970s and 1980s when a series of murders along the Interstate 5 corridor in California were linked to him. His modus operandi typically involved abducting, assaulting, and strangling his victims before disposing of their bodies in remote locations.
