This category groups perpetrators who, for one reason or another, do not fit into the more specific classifications such as:
- Serial Killer – Individuals who have been identified and convicted as serial killers.
- Suspected Serial Killer – Convicted killers who were or are suspected of being serial killers but lack sufficient evidence to conclusively prove it.
- Would-Be Serial Killer – Perpetrators who could have become serial killers if not for intervention, such as arrest or the survival of their victims.
- Victim – Individuals who were victims of serial killers or suspected serial killers.
- Suspect – Individuals who were suspected, at some point, of being serial killers but have not been convicted.
- Acquitted Individuals – Those who were charged with crimes related to serial killings but were acquitted in court.
- Disproven Cases – Cases in which accusations or suspicions of serial killings were definitively disproven.
