Even though we all want to think that police officers are always the good guys who will go above and beyond to protect and serve the community, there have been several instances over the years that show the exact opposite to be true. You'll find a few examples of police officers who later turned out to be serial killers below. Unbelievably, some of them even looked into their own crimes and blamed it on others who ultimately received harsh punishment and, in some cases, were unfairly put to death. You'll struggle to discover instances of people who have perpetrated worse atrocities than these killer cops, even if it's virtually unthinkable to conceive that they exist.
